SCULPTURAL LIGHT
ECLIPSE
is a collection of ceramic lights inspired by strong natural elements or landscapes which influence my work. This reference to nature in its different shapes propose various sensory experiences by creating an soft indirect light with enhance the materiality of the piece and contribute to the ambiance of the space.
SILK
refers to a soft, delicate and fragile environment, in relation to the element of water, through their finesse and the movement imprinted in the clay.
BONE
comes from raw, rough and matte textures are elaborated from sculptural clay with strong visual and in reference to rocks and geological formations.
ASH
between reconstruction and newness. Poetry comes from taking something at the end and transforming it. Turning ash into preciousness.
ECHO
highlights the alteration of time, refers to the precepts of wabi-sabi. The burnished, time altered mirrors dialogues with the ceramic to reflect light.
3LAYERS
is born form exploring the material in it’s various shapes to creates a dialogue between the roughness matte of the sculptural clay and the softness of a bright glaze.
PLUME
is a variation of the Eclipse on a oak stand allowing it to take up the space is other perspectives. It merges softness, elegance and strength.
SHADOW
challenges the notion of balance and gravity by creating a ambiance : a floating sculpture playing between shadows and light.
ONDE(S)
are inspired and born from Nature. This collection of work has been inspired by powerful elements of movements and forces developed by the earth to sculpt our landscapes. These pieces feel like they have been shaped by the ocean, when caught in the back and forth of the waves, sculpted by its movements, polished by the sand and washed up on the beach like a driftwood to find its permanent state in ceramic to become fossilized.
